Rampage Sneak Past Wolves, 2-1

The San Antonio Rampage wrapped up their longest road trip of the season, to date, with a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Wolves. The Rampage (9-3-1) ended up going 3-1-1 on the five game trip, accumulating seven out of ten possible points.

After falling behind in the first on a goal from the Wolves’ Brandon Pirri, the Rampage evened things when Adam Musil batted in a rebound off a Jordan Schmaltz shot. After a scoreless second period, Andrew Agozzino deflected a David Warsofsky centering pass out of the air, early in the third, to beat Wolves goalie Kasimir Kaskisuo for the eventual game winner.

Spencer Martin picked up his 6th win of the season, stopping 34 of 35 shots. Martin, 22, picked up back-to-back wins on the weekend. In the two games, the Rampage netminder stopped 73 out of 74 shots he faced, setting himself up for a possible Goaltender of the Week award.
